Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She grew up with twelve other kids. Her vivid imagination was a great way to get away from the pressures of daily life. The songs she wrote were composed before she knew how to read and write. When she was 8, she got her first electric guitar and began to sing at a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. That same year, she recorded her first album with Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. She made a name in the local scene while at high school, but always dreamed of having a bigger stage. The day after she graduated in 1964, she relocated to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts at the top of Monument Records. Porter Wagoner began looking for female singers to join his TV show syndicated by a network at about the same time. Parton took the offer and in the year 1967, she signed to RCA Records in 1968 and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. In 1974, she quit Wagoner's show due to the commercial success of her solo songs like Joshua Coats of Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Parton, after the split of their collaboration with Wagoner she wrote the song"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and had it reach Number. In 1974, Parton's song I Will Always Love You reached No.
