Vanessa Grimaldi has been a Canadian Special Education teacher for more than 20 years. She is also a reality TV star internationally. She also participated in and was crowned winner of a TV reality show called The Bachelor. Professionally trained as a television actor and educator, she had some acting experience. In January of 2010 she debuted the TV show Spartacus Blood and Sand. The show was inspired by the historical gladiator named Spartacus who led a major slave revolt against the Roman Republic. The series has shown internationally and helped make her a household name across the globe. She is married to musician Antonio Beliveau.
